Rose was born on 1 Jul 1897 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. She was baptized in the Catholic Church on 11 Jul 1897. In some documents, she is Rose Veronica, while others she is Veronica Rose. No one ever called her Rose, to my knowledge. She was the baby girl of the family.

Rose Veronica McDermott met and married Peter Karr (Kerr) on 29 Apr 1922 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA. Veronica died on 4 Jun 1967 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA at age 69, and was buried on 9 Jun 1967 in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA.
