Monica "Monnie" was born on 12 May 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. She is the only child of Anthony Ames and Agnes McDermott.

Monnie met and married Matthew Joseph Kreten on 29 July 1940. Together, they had 3 children: Sharon Monica, Joseph Matthew, and Mary Elizabeth.

Matt was born on 1 March 1916. He died in 2002.

Laverne met and married Hugh Francis McKinley on 18 October 1947 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Together, they had six children: Margaret Elizabeth, John Robert (adopted), Susan Marie, Kathryn Ann, Nancy Patricia, and Thomas Gerard.

Uncle Leo was born on 15 Apr 1895 in Chicago, Illinois. He was baptized on 28 Apr 1895 at St. Basil-Visitation Church, Chicago, Cook, Illinois.

Uncle Leo met and married Caroline Gradt, which must have been the talk of the family, as she was Jewish. They divorced at some point in time. Uncle Leo died on 8 Oct 1947 in Chicago, Illinois.

Caroline died on 4 Feb 1954 in Chicago, Illinois and was buried at the Waldheim Cemetery, Chicago, Cook, Illinois on 8 Feb 1954. Waldheim is a Jewish Cemetery, from my understanding. Together, they had one son, Leo Thomas Jr.
